chattra Sufi Eye Pillow is inspired by Sufi whirling dervishes who seek spirituality by abandoning ego, listening to music, focusing on the divine, and spinning in repetitive circles like planets orbiting the sun. It is said that after 36 hours of meditative whirling, the poet Rumi was luminous and radiant, as if reborn in a new consciousness. Originating with Persian mystics, Sufi dervishes whirl in India, too! 

This range of wonderful yoga and meditation accessories was brought to life by a dear friend and ex-neighbour of mine in Delhi, who has now moved her company to that New Age haven, California. Her products chime with the Bombay Duck values of pattern, colour, adding joy to the objects we use every day and also ethical production.
